Was I Too Optimistic at the Beginning of the Month

Back on All Fools Day I thought that spring had finally arrived. Clear blue skies suggested that we might, at last, get some warm weather. However, at the end of another long day working at the house, I wandered the grounds taking photographs again.
It wasn't till I got home and compared today's picture with one I posted back in February, that I realised the season doesn't seem to have progressed at all. Here's today's picture...
Now compare it to the one I took on the day of the completion of the purchase of Ruston House.
