Swans on the Island

Having seen the geese inspecting the duck house on Wednesday, now we have a pair of swans on the lake.
Unlike the geese, there was no sign of interest in the duck house. They were content preening themselves for the period they were on the bank.
When looking back at these posts, I often find it's the areas in a picture that are not supposed to be the subject that are of most interest. For example, this one help to set the date when the work began to clear the banks of the island. It also shows that it will soon be time to get the mower out of the shed!
