A Cygnet Reappears

Shortly before 11:00 I noticed a lone swan on the lake. As it came closer I saw that it had the rather grey bill of the cygnet that we last saw in November.
However, this time it was on its own - if, indeed, it is the same bird that we saw then as that one appeared paired.
The water levels, which I always gauge by the amount of ramp to the Duck house that can be seen, are quite high in the lake at the moment.
