Lake Views for March 2016
Photos: March 2016

There were just four photos of the lake taken in March, a couple fewer than the previous month, with the first taken on the 7th of the month.
It's 08:16 and there's snow on the ground but the lake has two swans on it and there is no sign of ice, so this was not taken during a long cold spell.
A week later, on the 13th, and at 08:00, all is spring-like again. If anything, the willow has leafed up a little in the last fortnight, but it's hard to tell if the alder, on its right, is yet showing any growth. Seeing that depends the light.
Now it is the 17th and at 09:08. The few days and the extra hour places the alder in sunlight and it is clear that the tree is adorned with some new leaves. On the other side, the water level in the dyke seems to have steadily dropped and is at one of its lowest levels yet.
In the last picture taken in the month, on the 25th at 08:14, it is very clear that the alder is leafing up. while the birch have developed little growth.
