Maybe this first shot was planned to be included on the site. Initially, I had assumed it was one taken several hours earlier and shared with family members on a WhatsApp group.
This was taken from the front door at 00:27, so not likely one intended for a family WhatsApp group.
Taken through the patio doors of our lounge some nine and a half hours later, the scene is far more inviting. However, the snow was gone by the time I took my BBC Weather Watcher image the following morning.
