There were still more photographs of the lake taken in February than in January spread between 3rd-27th of the month. The dinghy continues to sit on the new decking, which replaced the rotting wood in time for our wedding.

The image taken on the third of the month, at 10:26, confirms that the leaf growth, seen on the willow as early as 16 January, was well on its way to full summer plumage. It's always the last of the trees to drop its leaves and the first to regrow them.

The image from the 7th of the month was taken much later than usual, at 14:01. The shadow seen on the bank of the dyke suggests that the water level was lower than that taken four days earlier. Compare it with the image from 16 January.

Frost can clearly be seen on our neighbour's field in the view from the 11th of the month. It was taken much earlier, at 08:37, which will partly account for seeing the frost so clearly,

On the 16th the photo was taken a minute earlier, at 08:26. This time the fog was still to clear. While the frost on the neighbour's field is not as clear, the lack of reflections in the lake indicate the surface is iced over.

On the 25th of the month it wasn't until 11:00 that the photo was taken. This is the first time we see the solar lights that are now seen installed on the decking, an event that has occurred in the last ten days.

The final picture of the month, taken on the 27th at 09:53, suggests that the dyke is at it's lowest level yet, something that's relatively unusual for this time of year, when you expect winter rains to keep the level relatively high.
