I had been becoming concerned that the dinghy we bought through EBay very cheap and very second hand back in March 2014 was beginning to fall apart. The first photo I can find that I took of it was on 1 April but there are better views of it when Oiling the Goose Eggs and after we got Some Oars for it.

There wasn't too much wrong with it. It was just that the deck moulding was separating from the hull. I did think about buying some resin and chopped strand matting and repairing it as it should have been a simple enough job, but then decided that we deserved a new dinghy and hauled it out of the water to take some photos to re-sell it on eBay ourselves.

Then another idea emerged after chatting with the guy the cottage owners use for grounds maintenance and more, and we sometimes use for catching moles, and trimming trees. He knew someone involved with a local Sea Scout group and he took it away in his trailer expecting them to welcome it. However, we heard a week or two later that they didn't want it. I forget now how Clive said he had disposed of it.
